چکیده
Abstract Development of residual stress high magnitude, to the extent material yield strength and in some cases higher than strength, is one major challenges faced by components produced using wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM). This study focuses on aluminum alloy 5183 with respect formation distribution WAAM builds. Residual stresses were determined contour method. The effects processing conditions, such as substrate thickness, interlayer temperature, deposit height magnitude investigated. Substrate thickness was found have a influence along height. Tensile up value present. majority part showed tensile while compensating compressive stress. Lower temperature samples exhibited degree compared sample temperature. Deposit height, i.e., total number layers affected pattern similar thickness.

Cast nickel aluminum bronze (NAB) alloy is widely used for large engineering components in marine applications due to its excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. Casting porosity, as well as coarse microstructure, however, are accompanied by a decrease in mechanical properties of cast NAB components. Although heat treatment, friction stir processing, and fusion welding were im...
